Meet our shop
Camai's newest sheet fed press, a Heidelberg Speedmaster SM102VP with in-line coating, is Camai's second 40-inch four-color press!
The Speedmaster runs top-quality, full-color printing faster than any press in our shop. In addition to running 4 color jobs, the Speedmaster can also perfect one- and two-color, running two-sided jobs in a single pass and cutting the run time in half. The Speedmaster's automated features mean less labor time for each job, saving our customers money.
Not only have we reduced labor and increased quality and productivity since installing the Speedmaster, but Camai has also seen a tremendous decrease in paper waste, reducing our costs as well as helping us meet our sustainability goals.
Our new Speedmaster also features an in-line aqueous coater.
Over the last 30 years, water-based aqueous coating has proven itself an affordable excellent alternative to traditional varnishes for report covers, flyers, signage, and on any piece where visibility and durability are a concern. More rugged than varnishes, aqueous coating stands up to smudges, spills, scratches, and dirt, making brochures last longer, helping postcards to resist damage in the mail, and making business cards stand out from the crowd. The coating is applied on the same pass as the inks, and unlike varnishes it requires no extra drying time.
The Speedmaster's combination of speed and quality means we can provide our customers with a faster turnaround, higher printing and finishing quality, and a lower price for all large-format, full-color, and two-color printing.
